Rakul Preet Singh's father-in-law makes losses to the tune of Rs 250 Cr

It looks like Rakul Preet Singh's family is somewhat in trouble. Her father-in-law, who owns a Bollywood production house named Pooja Entertainment, incurred heavy losses on a film.

To go into the details, Vashu Bhagnani reportedly lost Rs. 250 crore because of the Akshay Kumar-Tiger Shroff movie, 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan' (2024). The film didn't recover its huge budget, throwing Pooja Entertainment into a spiral of losses.

Recently, Vashu sold his banner's 7-storey building in Mumbai. The building will be demolished and a luxury residential complex will be built there.

Vashu's son, Jackky Bhagnani, is Rakul Preet's husband. A recent report by TV9 quoted Bollywood news reports as saying that most of the staff members associated with Pooja Entertainment have been asked to leave due to the banner's inability to pay salaries.

Jackky's acting career hasn't been great. He was one of the producers of the flop Hindi movies like 'Ganapath', 'BMCM' and 'Mission Raniganj'. A serial entrepreneur, he is the founder of the music label Jjust Music.
