'Swayambhu': Over to Maredumilli's lush forests

'Swayambhu', starring Nikhil Siddhartha in the lead, will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada. Presenter Tagore Madhu and Pixel Studios are yet to announce its release date. Writer-director Bharat Krishnamachari has cast the 'Kartikeya 2' actor in the role of a warrior. Nabha Natesh is playing a princess. Samyuktha Menon of 'Virupaksha' and 'Devil' fame is also playing a lead role.

The crew is currently filming key scenes with the lead man deep in the heart of Maredumilli's lush forests. This setting isn't just beautiful, it's vital to the story. The rough terrain adds a layer of realism and intensity that would be missing elsewhere.

"Dense forests of Maredumilli... Enjoying the shoot, but we all need to stop plastic use and carry back the trash. Protect our Nature (sic)," the '18 Pages' actor wrote on Twitter, sharing a clip from the location.

For an action block in the movie, Rs 8 Cr was spent. Production designer M Prabhakaran had constructed two sets for the same in May. 'KGF' and 'Salaar' fame Ravi Basrur is setting the songs to tune. Vasudev Muneppagari provides the dialogues. Bhuvan and Sreekar are bankrolling the project.
