'Kalki 2898 AD' is hitting the screens on June 27. Amidst the pre-release frenzy, social media is witness to informed speculations about the exciting cameos in the Nag Ashwin directorial. The 'Mahanati' director has lined up pleasant surprises in the second half, reports say.
The buzz is that Late NT Rama Rao will make an AI-powered appearance as Lord Krishna in the movie. The film has a Hindu mythological rooting, to be sure. Since producer C Aswini Dutt regards NTR as a godly figure, he would see the cameo with a sentimental outlook.
SS Rajamouli, Vijay Deverakonda, Dulquer Salmaan, Natural Star Nani, 'Sita Ramam' fame Mrunal Thakur and a couple of others like Rana Daggubati are said to be making cameos in the pan-Indian movie.
The film, whose music is by Santhosh Narayanan, will amass a lion's share of its collections from Telugu and Hindi versions.
The Prabhas-starrer also belongs to Amitabh Bachchan. Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan and Disha Patani will also be seen. Shobana, Malvika Nair, Rajendra Prasad, Brahmanandam and others will also be seen.
