Dr Kamakshi Bhaskarla last year delivered a hit in the shape of 'Maa Oori Polimera 2'. Earlier, the predecessor of the series was a hit on OTT when it was released on Aha Video.
The news is that the budding actress has now teamed up with Naveen Chandra for a thriller. The untitled film is directed by Madhankumar Dakshinamoorthy.
As per the buzz in the industry, Kamakshi has got a sensible and author-backed role in this late-2024 release. The actress, who was seen in a cameo in 'Om Bheem Bush' recently, is kicked about the film. As someone who comes from a theatre background, she is also enjoying acting alongside the versatile Naveen Chandra, who has got a prominent part in Ram Charan's 'Game Changer'.
Dr. Kamakshi was in May this year feted with the Best Actress award at the Dada Saheb Phalke Film Festival in New Delhi. It was the 14th edition of the awards. The recognition is for her performance in 'Maa Oori Polimera 2', the 2023 release.
