'Peddha Kapu 1' will hit the screens on September 29 across the world. On the previous day (that is, September 28), grand premieres will be held in the US.
Shloka Entertainments and Charisma Entertainment will be releasing the movie in the US. The distributors have put out the list of theatres where the premieres will be held on a grand scale.
Directed by Srikanth Addala, the film is produced by Miryala Ravinder Reddy of Dwaraka Creations. While he could have easily collaborated with a big star after the stupendous success of 'Akhanda' in 2021, the producer did 'Peddha Kapu' because he loved the script. Virat Karrna, his brother-in-law, is making his acting debut. Rao Ramesh, Naren, Addala, Anasuya Bharadwaj, Eshari Rao and Brigada Saga are playing different roles. Pragati Srivastava is playing the female lead.
'Peddha Kapu 1' is a period action drama set in the 1980s. The story is about the resistance put up by a commoner against the social oppression prevalent in his village. There is a political plot as well.
