Trolls have been showering Vijay Deverakonda with brickbats ever since the release of 'Kalki 2898 AD'. In the film, VD plays Arjuna in an episode. His is a short role in the dystopian sci-fi epic movie. His dialogue delivery has been subjected to overwhelming scrutiny.
On Saturday, VD responded to the trolls by uploading his Arjuna still from the Prabhas-Nag Ashwin behemoth. It was his way of saying that the incessant trolling has not deterred him a bit.
To be fair to him, VD didn't get much scope to bring his style to the table. Any actor playing a mythical character deserves to be given enough space. It would be unfair to expect him to give a fleshed-out performance in a one-minute role.
The 'Family Star' is super-elated that 'Kalki' has been accepted by the audience. "I am so happy for all of you, you deserve all the love and success and power. Celebrating for you and God bless you," he recently wrote, addressing Prabhas, Nag Ashwin, Vyjayanthi Movies, Swapna Dutt, Priyanka Dutt, and others.
