Vijayendra Prasad, the screenwriter of 'Baahubali' and 'RRR', has been busy completing the scripting work related to his son Rajamouli's next movie with Mahesh Babu. At a time like this, a piece of news about his alleged plans to make a film on the history of the RSS has surfaced online.
A news daily has claimed that the film's budget would be Rs 450 Cr and that a Mumbai-based corporate house would be bankrolling it.
Variations of this news have been written about by the media time and again. It has been nearly six years since it all started. Vijayendra Prasad, in an interview, said that he was penning a biopic on RSS' legendary chief, Guru Golwalkar. A year later, a national political website claimed that the script was about the history and legacy of the RSS.
By and by, Prasad himself might have forgotten about what he said originally. In the last few years, he has spoken of several pending projects, most of which have remained non-starters. He has had plans to team up with several Bollywood heroes.
