Several Key leaders, including MLAs joins YSRCP

On Day 12 of the Memantha Siddham yatra, key leaders, including former MLAs, joined the YSR Congress party in the presence of Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy at Gantavaripalem in Palnadu district. Jagan Mohan Reddy is continuing the 21 days of Bus Yatra, titled, Memantha Siddham, ahead of the Andhra Elections.

Some of the leaders, who joined the YSRCP party on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 includes Pamula Rajeswari Devi, former MLA from Janasena representing P. Gannavaram, R. Ramesh Kumar Reddy, former MLA from TDP representing Rayachoti, and Pothina Mahesh, who previously served as Janasena's Constituency In-Charge from Vijayawada West, officially joined the YSR Congress Party.

With so many party leaders and cadre being disappointed with the seat-sharing among the TDP-JSP-BJP alliance, several leaders are shifting to YSRCP. The state is heading for elections on May 13, 2024.
