On his day 12 of Memantha Siddham bus yatra, Chief Minister, Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy assured medical help to a 16 year old Shaik Hussen Basha from Kommalapadu in Santhamaguluru Mandal, Prakasam District. It was mentioned that he is suffering from Ossifying Fibroma, with multiple high attenuation lesions on the left half of his face.
Going into the details, a year ago, Hussen underwent two surgeries at a hospital in Vadlamudi Village, Guntur District, incurring an expense of Rs 10 lakh for his family. His parents, Shaik Khader Ali and Shaik Moulabi, faced significant financial hardship in meeting these costs, resorting to selling their house. Further, they are unable to repay the borrowed money from lenders.
In a bid to convey their plight, Hussen's parents brought him to meet with the Chief Minister Jagan who was touring Prakasam and Palnadu Districts as a part of Memanth Siddham Yatra.
After hearing their concerns, the Chief Minister reassured the distressed parents of his commitment to providing medical assistance for their child. Subsequently, he instructed the Aarogyasri officials to urgently address the child's medical needs.
