In the upcoming movie 'Raju Yadav' (which will hit the screens on May 17), 'Jabardasth' fame Getup Srinu shows a new side to his acting. The character in the film meets with a poignant fate when a freak accident renders his facial muscles partly immobile. Owing to this, he comes across as someone who is smiling in all situations, leaving him embarrassed in social settings. A surgery alone can rectify his defect. However, his financially-challenged father, played by Ananda Chakrapani, can't afford it.
Starring Ankita Kharat as the heroine who ditches him after falling in love with him, the comedy-drama also features Rocket Raghava, Mirchi Hemanth, Jabardasth Sunny, Santosh Kalwacherla, Sriram, Kalyan Bhushan, Sree Mani, Pawon Ramesh, and Uthara Prashanth.
Directed by Krishnamachary K, the film is produced by Prashant Reddy and Rajesh Kallepalli on Sai Varunavi Creations and Charisma Dreams Entertainment. With music by Harshvardhan Rameshwar, the film has been shot by cinematographer Sai Ram Uday. Chandrabose and Kasarla Shyam have penned the lyrics. Edited by Bonthala Nageswara Reddy, it has production design by Sri Nagendra Tangela. Jithu Master has choreographed the songs.
