It is known that RS Praveen Kumar recently joined the BRS in the presence of KCR and he was announced as the party candidate from Nagarkurnool constituency.
Incidentally, Praveen is now facing some unexpected situations in Nagarkurnool, albeit no hugely significant ones. He is facing competition from Barrelakka in Nagarkurnool.
Karne Shireesha, popularly known as Barrelakka, filed her nomination from the Nagarkurnool Lok Sabha constituency as an independent candidate.
She also contested in the 2023 Telangana Assembly polls from the Kollapur constituency and polled a decent 5,754 votes.
She gained fame when a video of her questioning the previous Telangana government about unemployment issues while she was herding buffaloes went viral.
Bharat Rashtra Samithi fielded RS Praveen Kumar from Nagarkurnool in the Lok Sabha elections.
