Konda Visweswar Reddy has always been one of the most financially sound candidates in Telangana politics and the same has been reinstated this time with his declaration of assets. Incidentally, he is next only to Guntur TDP MP candidate Pemmasani Chandra Sekhar in terms of declared assets.
Konda Vishweshwar Reddy who filed nomination on BJP b-form has now become one of the richest Lok Sabha candidates in MP Elections as he and his family declares Rs 4568 crore worth assets in the affidavit. He is the richest candidate in contention in Telangana by a big margin.
But interestingly, most of Konda's assets are in the name of his and his wife Sangeeta Reddy. Most of the assets are movable such as shares in Apollo Hospital Enterprises Limited, PCR Investments, Citadel Research, saffron solutions and other companies.
While his assets are around Rs 1240 crore his wife’s are 3208 crore and his dependent son worth Rs 108 crore approximately. The couple own Rs 11 crore worth of diamonds and gold. The BJP candidates is clearly no short of money and financial resources.
