For a while now, the Telugu Desam Party high command and their cadres have been openly commenting against Jr NTR. Their allegation is that NTR is not aligning with the interests of the Telugu Desam Party and calling Nandamuri fans to disown him.
Adding to that, NTR's undeniable allegiance with Kodali Nani, Vallabhaneni and Chalamalasetty Sunil who are all with the YSR Congress party have kept NTR in the bad books of the TDP cadres.
Now, while TDP is facing existential crisis and is gearing up for its most important election campaign till date, NTR has cleverly stayed from the party activities. This has further anguished the TDP ecosystem and they are apparently planning a negative campaign against Jr NTR and his upcoming film, Devara.
There are reports that a section of Telugu Desam Party cadres have decided to commission paid negative trends against Devara's promotional material as a token of protest against NTR for distancing from TDP.
