Former CBI JD Lakhsminarayana is active in the political space as he is looking to have a say in the coming Andhra Pradesh elections. In the context of Chandrababu meeting Amit Shah, JD has issued a new suggestion to Chandrababu.
"Nara Chandrababu Naidu garu in the interest of the Andhra Pradesh State , should take written assurance from Amit Shah garu regarding granting Special Category Status to Andhra Pradesh, fulfilment assurances in the AP Reorganisation Act 2014, Withdrawal of Privatisation plan of Vizag steel plant and rationalisation of Vizag Railway Zone allotment before finalising the seat sharing & Alliance with NDA. The written assurance should be shown to the people of Andhra Pradesh" He tweeted.
Well, this very same Chandrababu promised special category status to Andhra Pradesh along with Modi back in 2014. The meeting in Tirupati in 2014 stands as a testament to the same. But in the end, TDP along with the NDA alliance left AP with absolute nothing.
Naidu's Delhi trip is entirely surrounding safeguarding himself and his son Lokesh from potential attack from Jagan in case YCP comes to power again in 2024. So the chances of him even discussing SCS in this meeting are extremely bleak.
