'BAAK' Trailer out, release date reconfirmed

'BAAK' is going to hit the screens on May 3 in Telugu and Tamil. Its pre-release event was held in Hyderabad on Sunday. On the occasion, a trailer was also released. Interestingly, the horror-comedy has at least two Telugu comedians in it: Vennela Kishore and Srinivas Reddy. And then you have the familiar Tamannaah Bhatia playing the ghost, while Raashi Khanna will be seen in a suspenseful role. Sundar C, also the director, has the role of a problem solver. Produced by Khushbu Sundar and ACS Arun Kumar under Avni Cinemax P Ltd, the film's production values look very good for the genre.

The trailer commences with a happy-go-lucky family of four enjoying their comfortable existence, only to meet a tragic end in a puzzling turn of events. Amidst a never-ending investigation, it's purported that following a quarrel with his wife, a husband ventured into the forest and met his demise. His death was followed by the apparent suicide by Tamannaah's character (the wife).

Tamannaah's brother is played by Sundar C, who is a lawyer. Additionally, the trailer introduces other characters, including Raashi, who resides in a haunted mansion within which discussions arise about harnessing the powers of a ghost named Baak.

The Telugu version will be released by Asian Suresh Entertainment LLP in the Telugu States. Delhi Ganesh and Kovai Sarala are part of the cast.
