Gossip: Buzz! There is a clash between Mahesh Babu and Allu Arjun

Mahesh Babu and Allu Arjun have been in a low-key feud. That's the inference one draws from what happened in their careers in recent times.

In 2017, there arose a row ahead of the release of Bunny's 'Naa Peru Surya' and Mahesh's 'Bharat Ane Nenu'. Both films locked the same release date. As per Bunny's camp, the producer of 'BAN' didn't cooperate with them in avoiding a box-office clash. Why was the producer of 'BAN' supposed to avoid the clash? That's because the release date of 'NPS' was announced first. In the film industry, the tradition is to respect the decision of the producer who makes the first move. In this case, the first move came from the producer of 'NPS'. The clash was eventually avoided but the resolution was preceded by online fan wars.

After Sukumar junked a project with Mahesh Babu and went on to announce a film with Allu Arjun in 2018, speculations about a feud between the two stars were once again rife. It was the decision of Mahesh to forgo the project due to creative differences with Sukumar. But the optics were just not right.

And now, in the latest instance, the 'Pushpa' actor is back in the news at a time when Trivikram and Mahesh are going extremely slow on 'Guntur Kaaram'. The news has gone out that the director has teamed up with Bunny all of a sudden for a film to be made next year. The 'Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo' actor is believed to have forced an announcement despite there being no occasion. Usually, big-ticket combinations are announced on special occasions like the actor's birthday, etc.
