It is known that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a US visit. He has held discussions with many relevant personalities in that country during his ongoing visit.
The news is that Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk, who also owns Twitter, has reposed faith in the India growth story. He also added that he is a fan of the Prime Minister. "I am incredibly excited about the future of India. India has more promise than any other large country in the world. Modi really cares about India," Musk said, adding that the PM is encouraging Tesla to make investments in India in a significant way.
Last week, Jack Dorsey (the former Twitter CEO) spoke out against the Modi administration by claiming that India wanted many Twitter accounts critical of the government to be banned during the farmers' protests of 2020 and 2021. Not so surprisingly, Musk backed the Modi government in the matter, suggesting that Twitter must respect the rules framed by local governments.
By saying that he is a fan of Modi, Musk has sparked the speculation that Twitter might become pro-BJP at the time of next year's Lok Sabha elections.
