Accused Nanda Kumar Opens Up On Phone Tapping Case

Nanda Kumar, accused in BRS (then TRS) MLA poaching case filed a complaint with Telangana DGP alleging that his phone was tapped by the Police officials who are involved in Phone tapping case.

In a video message released by Nanda Kumar, he alleged that Former State Intelligence Bureau Chief T Prabhakar Rao and former Deputy Commissioner of police of Commissioner's Task Force P Radhakrishna colluded and tapped his phone and illegally booked him in MLA poaching case. He further alleged that P Radhakrishna illegally detained him and his family and booked false cases against him.

Recently Hyderabad police arrested three D. Praneet Rao DCP , Thirupathanna, Addl DCP, formerly Addl SP, SIB, and N Bhujanga Rao, Addl SP, formerly Addl SP, Intelligence Department. ANd booked Former State Intelligence Bureau Chief T Prabhakar Rao and former DCP of Commissioner's Task Force P Radhakrishna in a phone tapping case. According to the police the accused officers indulge in illegal phone tapping to monitor the private persons illegally. Thus they have abused their official positions.

Meanwhile, regarding the phone tapping case, in october 2022, Cyberabad police in a police operation red handedly arrested three accused from a farmhouse in city outskirts who tried to poach four TRS legislators Pilot Rohit Reddy, Guvvala Balaraju, B Harshavardhan Reddy and Rega Kantha Rao into the BJP.
