The Nuzvid assembly constituency is a crucial part of the Uttharandhra belt and this constituency has historically favored the YSR Congress outfit. It appears that a similar trend will be seen in the coming election as well.
YSRCP candidate Meka Pratap Apparao has a very credible family name and his individual charisma are aiding his vote share. The traditional YSRCP vote bank and beneficiaries of the Jagan government are an added advantage.
Meka Pratap is financially well-off. However, the inadequate development of roads is negatively impacting his campaign, and he faces anti-incumbency due to two consecutive wins from this segment.
TDP candidate Kolusu Parthasarathy is facing several issues such as a non-local image and internal group conflicts, with followers of Muddaraboina Venkateswara Rao not supporting his candidature.
In the end prospect, YCP's Apparao might be leading the race and coming on top. We shall wait and see how things actually turn out finally on the 4th of June.
