Volunteer system to be continued: YSRCP manifesto

Andhra Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy assured to continue the volunteer system and ensured that their services would reach the doorstep of all elderly, widows and disabled every month through an array of welfare schemes in his party’s Manifesto. Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy released his party YSRCP manifesto for 2024 on Saturday.

Jagan Mohan Reddy assured to continue YSR Pension Kanuka now increased from ₹3,000 to Rs 3,500 per month if he comes to power again. In a big boost to the families of ASHA workers, Anganwadi workers, and outsourced employees Jagan assured to give benefits of Rs 25,000 to avail the benefits of housing, healthcare and education under the Navaratnalu schemes for all the eligible beneficiaries.

“The volunteer system continues, with village/ward volunteers delivering all the essential services and welfare benefits at the doorstep of every household. Essential Certificates to be provided twice a year, direct to your doorstep, through the Jagananna Suraksha programme,” read the manifesto.
