CM Revanth Reddy is doing everything in his power to improve the prospects of Telangana Congress as the state heads for the coming Lok Sabha election campaign. He is leaving no stone unturned to make sure that Congress wins at least double digit number of seats in the state.
Incidentally, one of the first victims of the Revanth Reddy government is Malla Reddy. This was evident after the Telangana government demolished the educational properties belonging to the Malla Reddy family upon river encroachments allegations.
Malla Reddy took a heavy beating from the incident after the Revanth Reddy led Telangana government started working their strategies against him at a personal capacity. He even secured a meeting with Karnataka Congress bigwig DK Shivakumar as a courtesy call in order to get out of the bad books of the Congress government in Telangana.
Devastated by these incidents, Malla Reddy has decided to quit Telangana politics for good once the ongoing term is done. He has decided to stay with BRS for the remainder of the 5 year period but once this phase is done, he will stay away from active politics.
