BRS ecosystem which has already been rattled by the departure of several key leaders and representatives has been dealt with a major shock with the Enforcement Directorate detaining KCR's daughter and sitting MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha.
Earlier today, the ED sleuths raided Kavitha's house in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad to determine if she has any properties have were obtained through the Delhi Liquor scam.
Following the ED raid earlier today, the ED officials have decided to detain Kavitha and have handed over the arrest orders to the MLC. She has been arrested with immediate effect and shall be presented in front of a judicial body soon.
Kavitha has been arrested in the Delhi Liquor case and she will have to face the legal consequences henceforth.
The timing of the arrest is such that it comes while the BRS outfit is preparing for the hugely important Lok Sabha election after having lost the recent assembly election.
BRS leaders have reached outside Kavitha's house in Banjara Hills and are protesting the arrest of the firebrand politician. More details about the case will be out in the due course.
