Former comedian Babu Mohan today shocked everyone by joining KA Paul's Praja Shanthi Party. Paul, who is the country's most ambitious politician, was present at the time of Babu Mohan's entry.
Last month, Babu Mohan quit the BJP. He had been associated with the BJP since 2018. While resigning from the saffron party's membership, he alleged that Kishan Reddy had been incommunicative with him.
The former Minister for Labour in the Andhra Pradesh government couldn't even secure his deposits from the Andole Assembly constituency in both the 2018 and 2023 Telangana Assembly elections. Babu Mohan has previously been associated with TDP and TRS. He has been seen as a political turncoat with no interest in commitment and ideology.
His latest political affiliation is nothing but him coming full circle. He started out as a comedian in films and has ended up as a comedian in politics. Babu Mohan had no chance whatsoever even with traditional, serious parties. And he is now testing his luck with Praja Shanthi Party, a non-entity. Well!
