The ruling YSRCP in Andhra Pradesh is facing an ongoing challenge from state employees ahead of the upcoming general elections. Despite successful talks earlier with the government, the employees are preparing for a strong protest to demand their long-pending demands.

The protests are scheduled to begin on March 9th. The state employees have previously gone ahead with their Chalo Vijayawada yatra. Despite the government's efforts to prevent the protest, the employees managed to create a lot of noise.

The government is now seeking the help of Ministers to resolve the issue, and a meeting has been scheduled with the employees' unions. Sources say that CM Jagan himself might monitor the talks to pacify employees.  Earlier, the unions had stopped their protest based on assurances from the Ministers committee.

However, their demands have yet to be met, and the employees are upset about not getting their benefits on time. The employees had previously supported YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in the 2019 polls. All eyes are now on the upcoming protests and the meeting with the Ministers, to see if a resolution can be reached.
