Anupama Parameswaran's film with 'Cinema Bandi' director titled 'Paradha'

Samantha Ruth Prabhu today unveiled the title poster of 'Paradha', which is directed by Praveen Kandregula of 'Cinema Bandi' fame. Ananda Media is debuting in the Telugu film industry with this project. Vijay Donkada, Sreenivasulu PV and Sridhar Makkuva are producing it.

Touted to be a compelling drama, the female-centric film has Anupama Parmeswaran in a key role. Darshana Rajendran, senior actress Sangitha and others will be seen in pivotal roles.

In a concept video released today, we see the 'Tillu Square' actress draped in traditional attire. She is seen standing alongside some other girls who cover their faces with a 'voni'. Anupama is seen giving a stern gaze. Unlike in her previous film, she will be seen in a de-glam role. The popular slokak 'Yatra naryastu pujyante ramante tatra Devata, yatraitaastu na pujyante sarvaastatrafalaah kriyaa' from Manusmruthi plays in the background.

Shot in Delhi, Himachal Pradesh and other locations, the film is gearing up for the final leg of shooting in Hyderabad in May. “Our movie is not just a story, it's an experience, a journey that will transport audiences to another realm," the makers said.

Gopi Sundar and Mridul Sujit Sen are handling the music and cinematography, respectively. Dharmendra Kakarala is the editor.
