It is peculiar how Vangaveeti Radhakrishna, a Kapu leader and former MLA from Vijayawada, operates within the political landscape. Although he is a member of the Telugu Desam Party, he is not actively involved in any of its activities.

However, he is often seen in the company of Kodali Nani and Vallabhaneni Vamsi, who are legislators of the YSR Congress party. Despite this, Radhakrishna has not pledged his allegiance to the YSRC.In addition, Radhakrishna permits Jana Sena Party leaders to use his father's photographs during his birth and death anniversaries. This led to rumors that he would abandon the Telugu Desam Party and join the Jana Sena Party, which he neither confirmed nor denied.

However, his silence led to speculation that he would switch to the Jana Sena Party, as he allegedly received a promise for a party ticket from the Vijayawada central assembly seat, which he did not receive from the TDP. Surprisingly, on Tuesday, Radhakrishna traveled to Kalikiri in the Pileru assembly constituency of Chittoor district to join Nara Lokesh on his padayatra.

Radhakrishna marched alongside Lokesh for a while and expressed his solidarity with the young leader. The two of them reportedly spent some time chatting at the padayatra camp and posing for photos and later they seem to have held discussions for an hour. As a result, there is speculation as to whether Radhakrishna has abandoned his plans to leave the TDP and decided to remain in the party. Interestingly, he has not issued any statement stating that he will not leave the party.
