According to law enforcement officials, the FBI and other federal agencies in the United States are collaborating to have a couple extradited from India. The couple fled after arrest warrants were issued against them for leaving a child in a dangerous situation. The child is now feared dead. Everman Police Chief CW Spencer explained during a press conference that six-year-old Noel Rodriguez-Alvarez, who has special needs, was last seen in late October or early November last year, shortly after his twin sisters were born.

The police have issued felony warrants for the arrest of the couple, which is considered a second-degree felony, Spencer stated. He went on to say, "We want these fugitives arrested and extradited to the US so that we can seek answers for the disappearance of Noel."

Noel was one of Cindy Rodriguez-Singh's ten children. Three of the siblings were living with their grandparents, while Noel and the others resided with their mother in a shed in Everman, a Fort Worth suburb. Spencer said that just before a welfare check was carried out on March 20 at the family's residence, Indian stepfather Arshdeep Singh, Cindy, and six other children boarded a plane and traveled to India. NBC News reported that Cindy informed the police that Noel was with his biological father in Mexico, which investigators later discovered to be untrue.

Police investigations revealed that Cindy neglected and mistreated Noel, including withholding food and water from the child. She supposedly informed family members that the child was "evil" or "possessed." Noel was born prematurely and suffered from various physical disabilities and developmental disorders, according to several media outlets.

The NBC report claimed that when the couple flew to India, there were no warrants against them, allowing them to board the flight. Police stated that the child's remains have yet to be found, and extensive search operations using sniffer dogs have already begun.
