Among the countries in the world, especially the West, it is only Canada which is offering an easier way to immigrate and a hassle free immigration process, in the form of granting Permanent Residency liberally. Hence, a record number of Indians are migrating with a hope that they can become residents soon and, in this regard, couples in their late 30s are also not hesitating to give up lucrative careers and CTC's in India.

They are moving abroad as students so that eventually in about 4 to 5 years they can easily gain PR. However, the country's job market is a big dampener for non-IT professions, with many unable to secure jobs even after years of staying there.

There is a talk that the country is giving PR so that Indians can take up blue collar jobs while white collar jobs remain out of bounds for the immigrants, who are more into clerk jobs, delivery gigs and uber taxi drivers rather than add some real value for their career. The job market in the country is being seen increasingly as a mirage though the immigration process is easier.
