'Uppena' and 'Vikram' fame actor Vijay Sethupathi's 50th movie is titled 'Maharaja'. It is helmed by Nithilan Saminathan. The film will hit the screens on June 14.
NVR Cinemas has obtained the theatrical rights to the movie for both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The production house is up for a massive release of the movie in the two States.
The film also featurse Mamta Mohandas, Bharathiraja, Natarajan Subramaniam, Singampuli, and Kalki. Its cinematography has been done by Dinesh Purushothaman.
B Ajaneesh Loknath of 'Kantara' and 'Virupaksha' fame is the film's music director. Its editing has been done by Philomin Raj.
V Selvakumar is the production designer. Anl Arasu is the stunt director. The dialogues for the original version were written by Nithilan Saminathan and Raam Murali.
Vijay is currently also doing 'Viduthalai 2'. "Every day when I stand in front of the camera for a shot, every shot is new for me. Every single shot is new for me, every story is new for me. I never feel it’s a story I have done before or a shot I have done before," he said in his latest interview with Hindustan Times.
