Interview: ‘Love, Mouli’ director Avaneendra

Love, Mouli’, starring Navdeep, Pankhuri Gidwani, Bhavana Sagi, Mirchi Hemanth, Mirchi Kiran and others, is hitting the screens this Friday (June 7). Director Avaneendra is happy that the film's early premiere in Vizag recently was successful in terms of positive feedback. In his latest interview, he shared some interesting facts about the movie.

A full meal sort of a movie:

'Love, Mouli' offers something for everyone. Whether it's the fascinating locations, the endearing portrayal of the heroine, or the many other elements woven into the story, there is something to connect with.

A novel format

After penning 'Love, Mouli' as a novel, I envisioned a roster of Tollywood's young stars for the lead. Despite Navdeep's hiatus from acting, his talent compelled me to approach him for the role.

'A' certificate was inevitable

The CBFC told us we will have to go for 20 cuts if we need a U/A certificate. We were not ready as that would have compromised the story. So, we went in for the 'A' certificate.

Music as a major ingredient

Expect Govind Vasantha's music to elevate the film. His evocative compositions, reminiscent of his work in the critically acclaimed '96' (Telugu remake: 'Jaanu'), seamlessly weave the narrative's essence.

Title justification

Evoking the tranquility of Lord Shiva, the name 'Mouli' hints at the film's essence, which will be unveiled as you watch. Even after two decades from now, 'Love, Mouli' will require no changes.
