The news is that she is now hosting an American radio talk show. The Chandrika Ravi Show is the name. The beauty, who has also been a Los Angeles-based model, bagged the offer after a meticulous background work by its makers. The producers of the show learned that she has always fought for her identity.
A source says that Sammy Chand, the founder of Rukus Avenue Radio, reached out to Chandrika with the irresistible offer. "Since it was a great platform to share her life and experiences with the world, the actress was elated with the opportunity," the source adds. The show is releasing on iHeart Radio, one of the biggest networks in the US.
“I have actually been working on my own talk show for a couple of years with the hopes of one day bringing it to life, and I finally have,” the actress, known for her special appearance in the Telugu film 'Chikati Gadilo Chithakotudu', said. “It’s been a great experience. A bit stressful, but rewarding. Being behind the camera has been a different experience to my years of performing. People can get to see the real me," the 'Iruttu Araiyil Murattu Kuththu' star analyzes. She is the first Indian woman to host a radio show in the US.
The Chandrika Show is aired on one of the biggest networks in the US, iHeart Radio and Rukus Avenue Radio, every Thursday, at 7: 30 AM India time. The full episode releases every Friday on YouTube for everyone internationally.
