The teaser for "Utsavam', written and directed by Arjun Sai, is out. With minimal dialogues, the teaser showcases the film's ensemble cast quite effectively. Surely, Rajendra Prasad, Prakash Raj, lead man Dilip Prakash and Regina Cassandra are playing performance-oriented roles in this film. Bramhanandam (probably in a cameo), LB Sriram, Priyadarshi, and Aamani are also seen.
Speaking on the occasion, hero Dilip Prakash said, "It feels honourable that I am making a debut with a content-driven film like 'Utsavam'." Brahmanandam spoke of the significance of poets, artists and writers on the occasion. He referenced the Surabhi theatre group in brief. "Prakash Raj is a born artist. Every inch of his body is capable of acting. I appreciate director Arjun Sai from the bottom of my heart for setting the story of this film in the backdrop of stage plays," Brahmi added.
Music director Anup Rubens said that 'Utsavam' is a heart-touching subject. "You will find the entire spectrum of the Telugu film industry's acting talent in this film. Even though director Sai is a newcomer, he could handle the large cast so well. My songs, I hope, will become successful. The songs are going to be released in the coming weeks," the composer added.
Director Arjun Sai said that he has been an assistant writer, assistant director and ghost-writer in the Telugu film industry for more than 15 years. "I want to thank Brahmanandam garu and AM Ratnam garu for being here today to launch the teaser," he added.
The songs have been written by lyricists Vanamali, Bhaskarabhatla, and Anantha Sriram.
