Guntur West constituency has always been a tough constituency to crack for YSR Congress but the situation is looking very much improved in the ongoing electoral roll.
Jagan pulled up a surprise by naming Vidadala Rajini as the local candidate by replace Maddali Giri, the TDP MLA who won from here in 2019 and later moved closely with YCP.
YSRCP candidate Vidadala Rajini has garnered popularity in recent years, which could positively impact her vote share. The support of current MLA Maddali Giridhar Rao could work in her favor.
TDP candidate Piduguralla Madhavi is being seen as a weak opponent for Vidadala Rajini and this could ultimately work in the favor of the YCP candidate.
Vidadala Rajini is now likely to win the Guntur West segment for the first time in the history of YSR Congress. This could be a pretty substantial development.
