'Family Star', starring Vijay Deverakonda in the lead, is directed by Parasuram Petla. The news is that Jagapathi Babu is playing a crucial role in this one.
The senior actor, who will soon be seen in Prabhas' 'Salaar' and Mahesh Babu's 'Guntur Kaaram', will be sharing screen space with the 'Kushi' actor in the Dil Raju-produced family entertainer that has Mrunal Thakur as the heroine.
'Family Star' also features Vennela Kishore in a full-fledged role. Kishore was seen in Vijay's previous title, 'Kushi', as well. The film also features Rohini Hattangadi and Vasuki of 'Toli Prema' fame.
'Family Star' was supposed to be released in theatres for Sankranthi 2024. Its release has indefinitely been postponed to Summer 2024. The film's music and cinematography is by Gopi Sundar and KU Mohanan, respectively. Marthand K Venkatesh is its editor.
Vijay, who is also an entrepreneur, launched his new luxury clothing label #RWDY recently. It tries to be in step with India's street culture.
