The First Thunder of Boyapati Sreenu's movie with Ram Pothineni lacks originality. The film might turn out to be a cracker of an entertainer but the glimpse doesn't offer freshness by any stretch of imagination.
Film critic Ram Venkat Srikar's post encapsulates what is on offer in the video. "Eye-popping colours, wind blowers, bomb blasts, punches that make men fly and of course, one dialogue to encapsulate the exaggeration on display," he wrote. True that the film seems to boast of rich production values, but we are as yet unsure if it has got any X factor at all.
We will have to wait for the movie's teaser, trailer and songs to show promise. As things stand, Boyapati has only unleashed his 'Sarrainodu' and 'Vinaya Vidheya Rama' style of treatment, which is stale, to be honest.
The film will hit the cinemas on October 20. Sree Leela is its heroine.
