There is ongoing speculation about a possible rift between Virat Kohli, the current captain of the Indian cricket team, and Sourav Ganguly, former captain and current Director of Cricket for the Delhi Capitals team in the Indian Premier League (IPL). There was some mutual admiration between them for a while despite a rocky past many years ago.

After a recent IPL match between the Delhi Capitals and Kohli's Royal Challengers Bangalore, some social media users claimed that the two were avoiding each other. In a video from the match, Ganguly can be seen jumping the queue of players and staff to shake hands with Kohli, while DC coach Ricky Ponting was talking to him.

It's unclear if there is any truth to the speculation of a rift between the two, but it is known that Kohli lost his position as Indian team captain during Ganguly's tenure as BCCI president. Recent reports also suggest that Kohli has unfollowed Ganguly on Instagram, and now it appears that Ganguly is not following Kohli either.

However, neither cricketer has commented publicly on the situation. This is common in cricket but the public distance between them and cold vibes is being discussed widely on social media.
