In a busy domestic season following new year it has been a nightmare for travellers in North America. Flights across America have been grounded following a technical glitch in a computer system and this has now caused unprecedented disruption. All operating airlines’ flights have been grounded in the US following a problem in the Notice to Air Missions system (NOTAM).

NOTAM provides information to flight crews regarding hazards, any sudden changes in airport facilities as well as other essential information.
