Shanmukh Jaswanth, the actor of YouTube series 'The Software DevLOVEper' and 'Surya' fame, famously participated in Bigg Boss Telugu season 5 in the year 2021.
The news is that Shanmukh was today detained by the Hyderabad police for allegedly being in possession of ganja. The forbidden substance was recovered from his place of residence in Hyderabad, reports by a few media houses say. His brother, Sampath Vinay, too, has been detained by the police.
The cops reportedly swung into action after a woman, whose identity has been concealed, complained to the police about Shanmukh's brother. The precise nature of her complaint is not known yet.
At the time of writing this news item, the police didn't issue any statement officially.
In 2021, Shanmukh was arrested by the police when he drove his car under the influence of alcohol. A ToI report said that he ended up damaging three vehicles, besides injuring a biker.
