Former comedian Babu Mohan, who has been associated with the BJP since 2018, today quit the party's membership officially. He alleged that Kishan Reddy has been incommunicative with him and that the chief doesn't even answer his phone calls.
"If there is any party that works for its own defeat, it is the BJP. This party promotes incompetent members and discourages hardworking individuals like me. This is uniquely bizarre. From today, I have no association with the party in any capacity," Babu Mohan added. In October last year, before the Telangana Assembly elections, he criticized both Kishan Reddy and Bandi Sanjay. Today's exit is formal and final.
The former Minister for Labour in the Andhra Pradesh government, couldn't even secure his deposits from the Andole Assembly constituency in both the 2018 and 2023 Telangana Assembly elections.
Babu Mohan has previously been associated with TDP and TRS. He has been seen as a political turncoat with no interest in commitment and ideology.
