It is an open fact that K Chandrasekhar Rao and his BRS party nurse a major grudge against the BJP and the Narendra Modi government. The reasons could be any but what is observed is, at the first opportunity, either the CM or his ministers including his son KTR bash up the Centre criticizing their decisions or policies.

Whenever that happens the Telangana BJP folks come up with some counter statement but that disappears in thin air because none of them are really powerful. So, for a long time, the war between KCR and Center was one-sided but now things are changing slowly. It appears that the BJP high command is taking notice of this and they want to put a check.

As a result, the Central Ministers are now entering the fray and giving their share of counter attacks on BRS and KCR. The latest in that list is the Union Minister Anurag Thakur who was on a visit to Hyderabad. Sharing his thoughts with the media, he came down aggressively on KCR, the present Telangana government and how they have failed miserably in keeping up their promises. Slowly but steadily, the Central BJP team seems to be upping the ante on KCR so it has to be seen how this two-sided war will shape up eventually.
