One of the main reasons why Shiv Sena became a strong force in Maharashtra was their 'Naka' arrangement. Every street used to have this 'Naka' with Shiv Sena workers and any person could visit there and share his/her grievance. The party would immediately jump into action and fix the issue. That gave a lot of respect for Shiv Sena during the time of Balasaheb Thackeray.

Now, it appears that the BJP is using the same method in Telangana. It is being noticed that BJP is coming up with 'Street Corner' setups across many villages in Telangana. They are interacting with the village people at every opportunity trying to understand their issues and giving them assurance. All this is the groundwork for the upcoming elections. But the question is, will all this help the party?

The political experts say the 'street corner' idea is good and it can be implemented effectively but the biggest drawback for BJP is the lack of proper leadership and a hierarchy in Telangana. So, what matters to the people is welfare schemes and the government machinery that can make things happen. So, it would take some really strong movement from the BJP leadership to actually create a success value out of this whole initiative. For now, BRS is certainly having the upper hand despite all these good ideas.
