“No Value To Women”: Former Mayor Saroja Resigns from Jana Sena

Former Kakinada Mayor, P Saroja resigned from the Jana Sena Party accusing that the party does not give any value to women. The move came after the Kakinada Rural constituency seat was given to Pantham Nanaji on behalf of the opposition alliance of Telugu Desam-Jana Sena and Bharatiya Janata Party. Saroja accused Pantham Nanaji of using everyone’s money in the Jana Sena Party.

Saroja, speaking to the media, said that “Jana Sena is like a residential college, and they run it like a corporate college.” She also said that Nadendla Manohar has been acting as a covert to Telugu Desam Party. She further added that there is no value to women and there were troubles because of leaders like Nadendla Manohar and Hariprasad Chakravarthy.”

Saroja further said that the party also does not give value to BCs and requested BCs to realise the same. Andhra Pradesh is set to go for the polls on May 13, 2024, to elect their public representatives for the 175 assembly constituencies.
