Leopard spotted on the Runway of Hyderabad airport

In a rare occurrence, a leopard has created panic at the Rajiv Gandhi International (RGI) Airport in Shamshabad in the early hours on Monday. The patrolling staff, who spotted the leopard on the runway of the Shamshabad airport, alerted the airport authorities. The airport authorities in turn informed the Telangana Forest officials, who now sprung into action.

Forest officials have set up cages and camera traps to track the leopard's movement. Meanwhile, they have also alerted the nearby villages at the airport to stay vigilant. However, the whereabouts of the leopard have yet to be identified. The airport authorities have also announced the same to the passengers and asked them to stay alert.
