YS Sharmila is extremely determined to detriment the electoral prospects of her brother, CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy at all costs. She has started a mini operation Akarsh of sorts as she has started to pluck out the leaders from YCP.
The other day, Sharmila welcomed YCP's sitting MLA from Nandikotkur, Arthur into Congress. Now that he is with Congress, he is all but confirmed to contest on Congress ticket from Nandikotkur.
Now, Sharmila has welcomed another YCP leader into Congress as she stated, with warm delight I welcome Sri Parigela Murali Krishna, former MLA of Kodumuru (2009), as he joins the Congress family from YCP. His addition will bolster the party, as Sri Murali Krishna garu firmly believes that the Congress is the key to restoring balanced development and welfare in Andhra Pradesh.
It appears that Sharmila is on the mission of plucking out the leaders in YSR Congress and bolster Congress's ranks through the same.
But YCP will be least bothered about losing these irrelevant leaders to Congress which anyway doesn't even have worthy contestants in the 175 constituencies in the state.
