Pawan Kalyan has been working at the command of Telugu Desam Party in Andhra Pradesh after the announcement of the alliance between TDP and JSP. He is now taking part in the political meetings with TDP.
Coming to the point, it appears to be that the TDP leaders and intentionally targeting Pawan Kalyan on stage.
The other day, Nandamuri Balakrishna referred to Pawan Kalyan as "Power star Pawan Kalyan." Today, ex-YCP leader Vamsi Krishna Yadav who later joined JSP also called Pawan Kalyan as "Power star Pawan Kalyan" right in front of him.
Notably, Pawan Kalyan had already everyone to stop calling him "power star" as he explained that this is a filmy title and doesn't bode well with his political aspirations.
"Power star" is a title that Pawan Kalyan got through his films. Prefixes like these are good to see on screen but they don't work in politics. Pawan identified the same and he urged everyone not address him as power star henceforth.
However, TDP leaders are still addressing Pawan Kalyan as power star. The intention could be to keep him in his place and constrain image because if he gains more prominence he could grow beyond TDP. By calling him power star, TDP leaders appear to be projecting him as a film star only and not a serious politician.
