Pawan Kalyan: Care of Zero Clarity

Addressing his supporters and cadres in Rajamahendravaram on Wednesday, Pawan Kalyan once again displayed his acute lack of clarity about anything and everything. Ten years after forming the Jana Sena Party, he continues to speak vaguely and broadly without even attempting to touch upon specifics.

His latest address felt like he was trying to somehow stuff the speech with fillers. He mentioned an anecdote from the days of 'Attarintiki Daredi' to prove the point that he doesn't believe in political punchlines. He said that he stays away from using words like 'Yuddham'. In the same speech, though, he used vocabulary that broadly falls in a similar category. The Jana Sena chief is known to often deploy the language of radical activists that allude to soldiers, armies, revolts, revolutions, sacrifices et al. This made sense when Jana Sena was new. It has been two election cycles and there is no evolution in his political language.

At one point, Pawan used the opportunity to demotivate his cadres. He said that those who prodded him to contest from two seats in 2019 are not part of the party anymore. Two months before a new election, instead of doing whatever it takes to motivate his dull cadres, Pawan speaks out of turn as if real life is the climax of 'Suswagatham' where he can blame the other person and draw whistles.

Pawan's speeches, in terms of focus and clarity, have been colossal duds. His learning curve seems to be stagnant and his political intelligence is stunted.
