Sandalwood actor Darshan has been in the news for all the wrong reasons. He has been accused of getting a fan killed. In a social media post, Naga Shaurya, who knows Darshan personally as a friend, opined that his friend is incapable of harming anyone.
In a long Instagram post, Shaurya touched upon Darshan's "generosity". To sum up his arguments in favour of Darshan, here is what Shaurya means to say: "Darshan must be innocent because I know him as a kind man personally".
Shaurya has been lecturered by Netizens and understandably so. Many are seen telling him not to court controversies by coming out in support of Darshan, who has been shamed by the Kannada media and Sandalwood fandom themselves based on the damning details that have emerged in the police investigation so far.
Also, the arguments offered by Shaurya are weak. "People need to understand the fact that just because someone has been nice to you, it doesn’t mean they are incapable of being toxic as hell. A person is so many things. We sometimes only get exposed to one side of it," wrote film critic Ram Venkat Srikar.
