Interview: Hero Vishva Karthikeya Speaks About 'Kaliyugam Pattanamlo'

'Kaliyugam Pattanamlo’, written and directed by Ramakhanth Reddy, stars Vishva Karthikeya and Aayushi Patell in the lead roles. The film is slated to hit the screens on March 29. The film, as per its lead man, is a lesson in caution. Catch him talk about what we can expect from the early Summer release.

Excerpts:

No human is just one shade. That's what the various characters in our films prove. The story takes place in the backdrop of Nandyala, where the many different characters are significant in different ways. Almost all of them come with two shades. Could they be called dual roles? It is for the audience to figure out for themselves by watching our movie!

Before the film's shoot commenced, I participated in workshops. A separate workshop was done for each emotion. My character goes through bouts of anxiety and anger.

My previous outing, 'Kalaposhakulu', was a thorough entertainer. 'Allantha Doorana' was a melodrama. 'Jai Sena' was a full-on commercial film. By contrast, 'Kaliyugam Pattanamlo' is a thrilling and suspenseful story with a strong mother sentiment element. There seems to be a new genre for every two to three scenes. It will appeal to all sections of the audience. It stands out in my career. The treatment of crimes has been done with a touch of freshness.

Our film demonstrates how parents should not raise their children. Children grow up the way their parents raise them. Nurturing makes children what they eventually become as adults. When I listened to the story, I couldn't figure out what was going on until the climax. A storyboard had been prepared beforehand. Our director's vision has been crystal clear.
