'Bharathanatyam' is a cool, breezy fun film this Summer: Makers

'Bharathanatyam', starring Surya Teja Aelay, Meenakshi Goswami, Harsha Chemudu, Harshavardhan, Ajay Gosh and others, will hit the screens on April 5. The film's trailer launch event was held today in Hyderabad. Among others, star writer Kona Venkat was present as a guest.

Speaking on the occasion, actor Surya Teja Aelay, who is also one of the writers of the film, said, "I thank the media for supporting our film. I am a newcomer. We have stepped up only because we believe in content. A producer like Payal Saraf is the need of the hour. KVR Mahendra, who directed Anand Deverakonda's 'Dorasani', has directed this film so beautifully. It's a genre shift for him from his first film to the current one. Some of the artists who have done this film are individuals I grew up watching. You will see a dangerous criminal in Harshavardhan garu's character in 'Bharathanatyam'. We were lucky to get the dates of Harsha Chemudu bro." The film also features the likes of Krishnudu, Saleem Feku, Temper Vamsi and others.

Producer Payal said that she can't thank her supportive husband enough. "I come from a conservative North Indian family. I thank my husband one hundred times every day for giving me this opportunity. I thank our Executive Producer Manoj Singh bhayya for always being there for us," she added.

Harsha Chemudu said, "I thank producer Payal Saraf for encouraging a fresh story like this one. The industry needs stories of this sort. Vivek Sagar's tunes are beautiful. Cinematographer Venkat R Shakamuri's work is lovely. The entire length of 'Bharathanatyam' is a cool fun film this Summer."

With fights by Devaraj, the entertainer has been edited by Raviteja Girijala. Sekhar VJ and Anee have choreographed the songs.
