Anushka Shetty, who was last year seen in 'Miss Shetty & Mr Polishetty', has collaborated with 'Kanche' and 'NTR: Kathanayakudu' maker Krish Jagarlamudi for a new movie. UV Creations and First Frames Entertainments are bankrolling the project.
Amazon Prime Video has put out the film's title. 'Ghaati' is its name. The film's pre-look poster is interesting. We see a woman draped in a saree with her face covered with a shawl. There is a certain force in the way the 'Bhaagamathie' actress appears to walk. Touted to be an emotionally satisfying tale of "revenge, redemption, and retribution where a victim-turned-criminal rises to a status of legend", the film will feature an ensemble cast.
Produced by Vamsi and Rajiv Reddy, this one is co-written by Chintakindi Srinivas Rao, the 'Gautamiputra Satakarni' director and 'RRR' writer Burra Sai Madhav.
Krish, meanwhile, is also doing Pawan Kalyan's 'Hari Hara Veera Mallu'. The film, presented by AM Ratnam, will resume its shoot later this year. Both 'Ghaati' and 'HHVM' are going to be special releases in Krish's career.
